Nearby towns we also list for hermetic sliding doors (straight-line distance): Tewkesbury (11.3 miles), Stratford-upon-Avon (12.3 miles), Worcester (13.3 miles), Cheltenham (14.4 miles), Droitwich Spa (14.8 miles), Redditch (14.8 miles).
What to think about for hermetic sliding doors in Evesham
- Private hospitals, veterinary practices and dental surgeries in Evesham sometimes need hermetic doors for treatment rooms too. The same survey and specification process applies, scaled to the room.
- Power, building management and fire alarm links need planning with your electrical contractor. Cable routes into sealed cleanroom ceilings must be agreed early, before the panels are sealed.
- Labs and cleanrooms in Evesham often have modular wall panels. Frame details must match the panel system, so involve the cleanroom contractor before the door is ordered.
- Theatre doors in Evesham can usually only be replaced during a planned shutdown. Agree the dates with the theatre team early, as the door is made to order and the room needs cleaning and validation after installation.
- Choose finishes that stand up to the cleaning regime at your site in Evesham. Stainless steel and high-pressure laminate cope with strong disinfectants, but check the chemicals your cleaning team uses first.

Standards and rules in England
BS EN 16005 is the current standard for the safety in use of powered pedestrian doors, and BS 7036-0:2014 is the British code of practice for risk assessment and risk reduction used alongside it. Standards are not law in themselves, but they are the recognised benchmark for showing an automatic door is safe to use, and we set up, test and document doors with reference to them.
Glass in and beside doors must be safety glass or protected where people could walk into it, and clear glass needs markings in two bands, 850 mm to 1000 mm and 1400 mm to 1600 mm above the floor (Approved Document K).
How it works
- Send photos and the address. A few pictures of the door from both sides, the address in Evesham and a note of who uses the entrance help us understand the job before anyone visits the site.
- No-cost survey on site. We arrange a survey at a time that suits the building. The engineer records measurements, fixings and power, plus any constraints such as listed status, opening hours or access for deliveries.
- Itemised quote to approve. We price every element of the work on hermetic sliding doors separately in a written quote that you can check, share and approve. Lead time and payment stages are stated, and nothing is ordered until you accept.
- Fit, test and hand over. On the agreed dates the engineer installs the equipment, commissions the operator and tests each safety function. You get a demonstration, the test record and any conformity paperwork that applies to the work.

Hermetic sliding doors in Evesham: questions
Can you work within our infection control procedures in Evesham?
Yes. Work in clinical and cleanroom areas is planned around your permits, screening and dust control requirements, and around room shutdowns. Share your procedures at the survey and we will build them into the method statement and the programme for the installation.
Can you give me a price for hermetic sliding doors in Evesham?
Our guide starts from £8,995 excluding VAT (per door), the same guide price we use across the UK. The free site survey in Evesham confirms the price as a fixed, itemised written quote, and the guide price tool gives you a range before anyone visits.
Who maintains hermetic doors in Evesham once fitted?
We can, through planned servicing with each visit priced in writing before an engineer attends. Seals, sensors and interlocks need regular checks, and a trained engineer should test the safety functions at least once a year. Many theatres and cleanrooms schedule more frequent checks as part of their own maintenance programme.
Is the survey for a hermetic door in Evesham free?
Yes, for a new hermetic door the survey is free and there is no obligation. We measure the opening, check the wall and floor, discuss seals, finishes, activation and interlocks with your team, then send drawings and a fixed, itemised written quote.
What does the written quote for hermetic sliding doors in Evesham include?
The quote lists each item separately: the door or equipment, installation, electrical connections where we provide them, removal of anything being replaced, testing and handover. It is a fixed price for the work described, so it does not change unless the scope changes, and any change is agreed with you in writing first.
How do you make sure the door works for disabled visitors in Evesham?
We look at who uses the entrance: wheelchair users, people with walking aids, parents with buggies and older visitors. That shapes the opening width, the opening speed, the hold-open time and where push pads or sensors go. Service providers and employers have duties to make reasonable adjustments under equality and accessibility law, and an automatic door is a common one.
Do businesses in Evesham have to fit automatic doors?
No law says every building must have automatic doors. Under the Equality Act 2010, service providers and employers must make reasonable adjustments for disabled people, and building regulations guidance in England calls for a powered door where an entrance door would otherwise be too heavy to open. An automatic door is often the simplest way to meet both.
