Who we are

Automatic Door Installers is a trading name of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (company number 16932889), a company in the same group, at the same address. S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd handles enquiries on behalf of S&K Group Holdings Ltd and is the data controller for quotes, contracts and job records once you ask for a survey, quote or visit.

To contact us about your personal information, email info@automaticdoor-installers.co.uk or write to the address above.

What we collect

  • Enquiry and quote forms: the service you need, the postcode of the door, your name, phone number, email address, organisation (optional), your message (optional) and, from the guide price tool, the door type, size, options and guide range you chose. We also record the page you sent it from.
  • Live chat (Tawk.to): what you type into the chat, and any name, email or phone number you give. Chat only loads if you accept optional cookies or press the Live chat button.
  • Phone, email and WhatsApp: what you tell us and your contact details. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) also processes that message under its own terms.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics 4): pages visited, approximate location, device and browser information and how you arrived. Only if you accept optional cookies.
  • Job records: survey notes, drawings, photographs of the doorway and door, quotes, contracts, invoices, safety test and service records.
  • Website hosting logs: our host (Netlify) records technical information such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the website.

You can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, delete it or restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, and ask for it to be transferred. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time, for cookies through the Cookie settings link in the footer. Some rights have exceptions, for example where we must keep records by law.

If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).

Security

The website uses HTTPS throughout. Access to enquiry and job information is limited to the people who need it, and service providers are chosen for their security.

Changes

We will update this notice when we add a new tool or change how we use information, and show the date at the top.

Next step

Tell us about the doorway

Send the address, a photo if you have one and what the door needs to do. New installations get a free site survey and a fixed written quote; repairs and servicing are priced in writing before we attend.
